On June 29 Yemeni Coast Guard made a statement, denying the whole MT RAMA 2 sinking story, saying that there was no distress signal, and no oil tanker sank on June 26.
But meanwhile, I received a letter from Master of one of the merchant vessels involved in SAR, in which he said, that my story about vessel’s sinking and SAR is totally wrong, though it is based on major/local media reports and AIS tracks. A photo was attached of sinking vessel. I’ll publish photo full-scale after approval from the Master.
