Jun 28 Update: Caravan passed St. George’s Channel between West Britain and New Ireland islands, PNG, and stopped off Rabaul, northern tip of New Britain, early Jun 27. As of morning Jun 28, tug and tanker were still of Rabaul. Port of destination remains unchanged.
Jun 26 Update: Tanker was taken on tow by tug PACIFIC SALVOR (IMO 8209339, flag PNG), on Jun 24. As of early Jun 26, caravan was moving off southern coast of New Britain, Solomon sea, at 2.5 knots speed, in eastern direction. Destination yet unknown.
Jun 24: LNG tanker CESI GLADSTONE, IMO 9672820, GT 113397, Solomon sea – NUC since Jun 21, en route from Gladstone Australia to Beihai China, ETA Jul 3. Tanker is in load.
