Passenger ship KAJAL with 250 passengers on board was disabled in the afternoon Jan 15 near Saint Martin’s Island, southernmost Bangladesh, while en route from Saint Martin’s to Teknaf port, mainland Bangladesh. At night Jan 15 she was still drifting, awaiting another vessel of KAJAL’s owner company, KUTUBDIA (IMO 8012712). As of 0530 UTC Jan 16, situation is unknown.
