General cargo ship LANGELAND was intercepted in Alboran sea early in the morning Oct 11, shortly after passing Gibraltar, by Spanish Coast Guard and law-enforcement ganecy, on suspicion of drug trafficking. The ship was taken to Malaga, and docked for a thorough search. As of evening Oct 11, nothing was found yet. LANGELAND manned with 12 Turkish crew is en route from Jamaica to Turkey, though according to local sources, she departed from Safi, Morocco, with cargo of flour. No records of Safi call in AIS history. Maybe wrong ship?
