Abandoned and unmanned general cargo vessel CAPTAIN UFUK sank in Manila Bay in the morning July 17, due to lack of maintenance. Vessel was confiscated by Philippines Customs in 2009 for arms smuggling, and was abandoned. Hull started to leak, most probably in engine room area, and vessel sank, though Coast Guard tried to prevent sinking. On photos sinking CAPTAIN UFUK.
