Towed floating dock sank in South China sea

Towed by salvage tug IRBIS floating dock No.9 sank during towage in South China sea in position 20 55,65N 116 33,03E, 116 nm east-north-east from Hong Kong, at 1810 LT Nov 30. Sinking was caused by water ingress into dock. Dock developed starboard list, capsized and sank. Dock was towed unmanned and sealed, from Sovetskaya Gavan port, Japan sea, to Batam, Indonesia. Owner of the dock A&C TRADING NETWORK PTE LTD, Singapore. Dock sank on 300-meter depth, with no fuel and supplies on board, no risk of pollution.
