Product tanker SPOB KAPUAS reportedly suffered explosion and fire in the afternoon Apr 25 in South China sea while en route from Pontiak, Kalimantan western coast, to Merak, in waters of East Belitung. Reportedly there were 16 crew on board, at least 2 suffered burns, 1 in critical condition. According to available information, there was cargo on board.
