Early in the morning Apr 10 Master of bulk carrier PURPLE BEACH, docked in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, reported to port authorities water ingress in engine room. Water level was raising until reportedly, 1500 LT, firefighters were deployed to assist in pumping water out. Divers sealed the source of leak, starboard cooling pipe. Repairs are to be completed after engine room pumping out dry.
