General cargo vessel HAODA 6 fire, same as in 2012

General cargo vessel HAODA 6 reported fire on board in the afternoon Mar 14, vessel was some 8 nm southeast of Xiangshan, Ningbo. Vessel with 950 tons of scrap was en route from Yokohama Japan to Taizhou Zhejiang. At around 1900 LT 9 crew were rescued by CG rescue boat, fire was reported extinguished by 0700 LT Mar 15. Present condition of the vessel unknown, HAODA 6 suffered cargo fire before, in 2012. Cargo was the same, scrap from Japan.
