Tanker aground, Mormugao

Chemical tanker NU SHI NALINI drifted aground at Mormugao, 2 nm of Dona Paula, Goa, western India, on Oct 24, after her anchor dragged in stormy weather. She’s unmanned, loaded with some 3,000 tons of naphtha. She arrived at Mormugao in July, on tow, already without crew, and is anchored since that time. She can’t be berthed and offloaded because of some litigation issues. AIS is off.since Jun 2018.
