Fire erupted on board of Russian trawler BUKHTA NAEZDNIK, berthed at Brevik harbor, Tromso, Norway, at around 1100 LT Sep 25. Fie engulfed area fore of superstructure, with a lot of billowing smoke. Reportedly, ropes, oil and plastic materials are on fire. 29 crew who were on board are all accounted for, 27 were taken to hospital for medical check for possible smoke inhalation. As of 1300 UTC, fire wasn’t yet extinguished. AIS is on, trawler remains berthed with tug and SAR boat nearby.
