Chinese cargo ship grounded, breached

General cargo ship XIN YUAN HONG ran aground in Jiaojiang river estuary, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, China, East China sea, at around 0150 Beijing time Jul 14. Hull was breached with ensuing water ingress, 13 crew prepared to abandoned vessel. Patrol boat was sent to assist and rescued crew if necessary. Crew managed to take water ingress under control, vessel refloated at 0410, with high tide, and at 0745 Beijing time was berthed at Jiaojiang Port.
