Pusher tug PAL 3 lost control of coupled barge SHILAYNYAY, loaded with 3750 tons of wheat, in Azov sea in Point Kamenniy area, east of Kerch Strait, on Dec 1, while en route from Azov port to Kavkaz port, Russia. Barge under strong wind impact drifted towards coast and grounded near Point Kamenniy. Barge is unmanned, no fuel or oil on board. As of 1330 UTC Dec 2 barge was still aground, with 3 tugs, including PAL 3, seemingly engaged in salvage.
