Cement carrier FJORDVIK ran on breakwater of Helgvik port, Iceland, west of Reykjavik, at around 0100 UTC Nov 3, while entering the port with pilot on board, on arrival from Aalborg Denmark. Hull was breached, oil leak reported. Bad weather, preliminary, is believed to be the cause of an accident. Track shows, that the ship just missed the entrance. Reportedly but not confirmed, crew and pilot were evacuated by helicopters.
