Freighter grounded, breached in Tsushima Strait, Japan

General cargo ship SEIRYU MARU ran aground early at around 0100 Tokyo time Mar 30 in Tsushima Strait on a small islet north of Karatsu, Kyushu Island, Japan. The ship loaded with steel was en route Nagasaki to Osaka. Fore was breached and some compartments flooded, SEIRYU MARU was refloated and later in the day taken to Fukuoka Harbor.
