Product tanker TERNVIND ran aground on an island in Graveskar Archipelago shortly after leaving Gothenburg, Sweden, at around 1400 UTC Feb 10, right in front of lighthouse Gaveskar. Reportedly tanker is in ballast. According to AIS, she was refloated, with tug’s assistance, in about an hour. Steering failure said to be the cause of the grounding. Tanker seems to be under way as of 1540 UTC moving dead ahead, probably to be anchored for a hull survey. On a photo from gp.se TERNVIND on the rocks. No leak reported.
