General cargo vessel XIN YANG ran aground on a coast of Dangan island, some 15 nm south of Hong Kong, at midday Jan 23, while en route from Hong Kong to Taiwan. It is understood, that the vessel wasn’t able to hold on against wind and sea, and was pushed ashore. 6 crew were rescued.
