Container ship JORK RULER went out of control while entering new southern lock at Brunsbuettel, Kiel Canal, at 1840 LT Dec 6. The ship contacted lock’s wall by forecastle bulwark and opposite wall by stern, starboard. Lock’s walls and the ship sustained slight damages, JORK RULER was allowed to transit Canal in eastern direction, en route to Helsinki.
