Chemical tanker SWAN BISCAY ran aground at around 1230 LT Nov 4 at Southport, North Carolina, USA, after propulsion failure. Tanker was en route from Wilmington N.C. to Savannah. She was refloated some 5 hours later, and brought to anchor on outer anchorage, apparently for survey. As of 0430 UTC Nov 5, she was still at anchor. No information on damages, no leak reported.
