Ferry SUBSEA SEVEN with 36 passengers on board suffered engine failure at around 0900 LT Jan 6 while en route from Hiiumaa Island to Saaremaa Island, two biggest Estonian islands. Ferry was stuck in ice, which was keeping her from drifting to shallows. A fishing boat nearby was to take her on tow. Reportedly, she was taken on tow in three hours after she stopped. According to AIS, as of 1400 UTC Jan 6, she was already at Soru port entrance.
